The Chinook Hunter/Jumper/Dressage series is the first series of shows to have been recognized by the Chinook Equine Association (CEA), a fully qualified 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization dedicated to promoting equine sports in NE Oregon.  CEA members who participate in the Chinook H/J/D Series earn points toward the CEA's Year-End Awards and Prizes.  All participants at the Chinook H/J/D Series can use these shows as a means of qualification for the CEA's Championship Show to be held in October of each year.  Cottonwood Farms is a founding member of the Chinook Equine Association.

A group of flat shows hosted by Cottonwood Farms has also been added to the list of events recognized by the Chinook Equine Association.  These shows are spaced throughout the year, as time permits.  However, these shows are not a full series of shows with a series high point award.  Each show stands on its own.  These shows offer classes in Halter, Showmanship, Trail, Driving, Gaming, English Pleasure and Western Pleasure.  For more information, check the CEA web site (link above).
